On Sunday evening, May 23, AIDA Cruises started into the new cruise season in the Eastern Mediterranean with the ship AIDAblu.
Until October 17, Kerkyra (Corfu Island) Greece is the homeport for 7-day roundtrips across the Greek islands, with Sundays departures. Ancient sites like Piraeus-Athens, Katakolon-Olympia, Heraklion Crete and Rhodes Island are part of the exotic itinerary.
AIDAblu’s passengers enjoy the Greek way of life not only on shore excursions organized by the cruise line but also onboard – from culinary highlights and during the new cooking show “Elliniki kouzina” to concerts by Greek guest artists.
In addition to cruises in Greece, AIDA has been offering voyages to the Canary Islands with AIDAperla since March. From Germany, the port of Kiel is the starting and destination point for a variety of short cruises with AIDAsol through the end of June. From July 3, AIDAprima will begin 7-day sailings from Kiel every Saturday, offered until October 23. AIDA will also be opening the season in Rostock-Warnemunde Germany on July 1 with AIDAsol. Bookings start on May 26.
The transit cruise of AIDAperla from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to the western Med will start on July 3, 2021. Palma de Mallorca (Majorca Island, Balearic Spain) is the port of departure and destination for 7-day voyages to some of the most beautiful sites in Spain from July 10. For these sailings, bookings start on June 4.
AIDA Cruises is expected to celebrate its 25th anniversary on June 7. The passengers of all 3 ships can already look forward to an onboard program during their cruise.
With its “AIDA Promise”, the company offers more flexibility and peace of mind when planning and booking cruises. Generous booking options are part of AIDA's offer, from free rebooking to low deposits. The “AIDA Promise” is included in the travel price for all new bookings up to June 30, 2021, and valid for departures through March 31, 2022.
