SeaDream added 4 voyages in Norway to the line's Summer Season and a unique journey from Oslo Norway to Civitavecchia-Rome Italy.
SeaDream’s first Norwegian cruise is scheduled to set sail from Oslo on July 7.
Last summer, SeaDream’s Norwegian sailings sparked unprecedented excitement. The company initially intended to sail in Norway with only one vessel, SeaDream 2, for 9 cruises but after the first cruises started quickly selling out, SeaDream added SeaDream 2 in order to double capacity and meet the demand. The entire Norwegian season of 21 sailings sold out in record time and the line completed a successful Norwegian season with zero COVID-19 cases.
Responding to the demand, SeaDream has crafted 4 itineraries in Norway this summer, with destinations that were hand-picked by CEO and Founder, Atle Brynestad.
Itinerary highlights include Bergen, “the Heart of the Fjords”; Olden, located at the mouth of Oldeelva river; Lofoten Islands, a summer destination for Norwegians far above the Arctic Circle.
The crown jewel this Norwegian Summer Season is SeaDream's Grand Voyage from Oslo to Civitavecchia (to Rome). The voyage includes a picturesque transit through Kiel Canal and the Little Belt strait. It also calls in Bordeaux France and Spain with calls at Vigo, Cadiz, Ibiza, before sailing to Rome Italy.
SeaDream’s superyachts can quickly adapt their itineraries in order to comply with government regulations. The company can visit exclusive destinations that other cruise ships cannot due to their size.
This summer, SeaDream chose Norway for its low incidence of COVID-19. The line's crew have been fully vaccinated and flew from Malta to Norway to prepare for the sailings.
