P&O UK replaced its 2022 world voyage with a 40-night journey to the Caribbean and a 12-night sailing to Portugal and the Canary Islands.
The voyages onboard Aurora go on sale on July 6 and will depart roundtrip from Southampton (England UK) on February 22 and April 1, 2022.
According to P&O's president Paul Ludlow, it was “not possible” to operate the scheduled 2022 world voyage because of the “complex logistics” involved with a global itinerary.
Fares for the 40-night Caribbean cruise on February 22 start from GBP 2,149. Ports of call feature La Coruna Galicia, Funchal Madeira, Basseterre St Kitts, Pointe-a-Pitre Guadeloupe, Oranjestad Aruba, Castries St Lucia, St Georges Grenada, Kingstown St Vincent Grenadines, Bridgetown Barbados, Kralendijk Bonaire.
Aurora is scheduled to return to Roseau Dominica, for the first time in nearly a decade and will call at Guadeloupe and Aruba for the first time in 4 years.
Prices for the 12-night Portugal and the Canaries itinerary, departing on April 1, start from GBP 600 pp.
Ports of call for the round-trip itinerary include Santa Cruz de la Palma, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Arrecife (Lanzarote), Lisbon Portugal.
A 3rd passenger in the same cabin can sail from GBP 200 on both cruises aboard P&O Aurora. Guests can also spread the cost monthly with no additional cost.
Aurora is due to resume her already scheduled itinerary on April 13, when she sails to the Mediterranean.
P&O UK confirmed it will operate a world voyage in 2023.
