Due to the high demand for sailings from ports in northern Germany, AIDA Cruises revealed it will deploy another Sphinx-class vessel from Kiel. On August 15, the first 4-day short cruise to Gdynia (Gdansk, Poland) will start followed by a 3-day roundtrip to Goteborg Sweden.
Both cruises will be available alternately. A variety of travel dates are offered up to/including October 14, 2021.
The name of the AIDA ship is to be announced shortly. The new vacation offers are already available for booking.
On the 4-day voyage, the cruise ship calls at the Polish port of Gdynia following a day at sea passing the island of Gotland.
“Scenic Cruising” is the motto on the first day of the 3-day short cruise from Kiel, Germany, which leads to the metropolis of Gothenburg in Sweden.
In May 2021, AIDA opened the cruise season in the port of Kiel and is now offering with AIDAprima every Saturday 7-day voyages in the Baltic Sea through October 23. The destinations feature Goteborg, Visby (Gotland Island) and Stockholm.
As soon as more destinations reopen for cruises, AIDA intends to visit more ports on their sailings.
All voyages are carried out in compliance with AIDA’s enhanced health & safety protocols, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
