Cunard Line confirmed that its “Grand Escape Voyages” are commencing in October 2021.
Voyages range from 2 to 40 nights, offering passengers the chance to enjoy 40+ new 2021-2022 sailings, visiting 49 destinations, sailing on Cunard's three liners - Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, and Queen Elizabeth.
Guests will revel in the resumed Transatlantic Crossing from November and head to the Caribbean enjoying the flexibility of embarking from either Hamburg, Southampton, New York, or Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades FL). Queen Elizabeth will sail in Western Europe, Asia, and the Atlantic Coast, while Queen Victoria will explore Europe and the Baltics.
Cunard's fleet will spend a number of overnight port calls in destinations like Amsterdam Netherlands, Lisbon Portugal, Hong Kong, Funchal Madeira, Port Rashid Dubai, and Bridgetown Barbados, offering more time ashore, while onboard brings exquisite fine dining and "sparkling entertainment".
Cunard resumes operations from July 19 as Queen Elizabeth welcomes passengers onboard for a series of UK cruises from Southampton England. Beginning October 13, the ship is to sail internationally with new journeys to the Canary Islands and the Iberian coast. Queen Elizabeth is then due to leave the UK in mid-February 2022 to resume her previously scheduled season in Japan from April 13.
Queen Mary 2 is expected to resume sailing with a Transatlantic Crossing on November 14 as per her existing schedule and will sail on a series of cruises around the Caribbean between January-April 2022, with embarkation options from Southampton UK, New York City, and Hamburg Germany, before resuming her existing schedule on April 24, 2022.
Queen Victoria is due to embark on 3 new cruises departing from Southampton UK from April 22, 2022, including the Baltics, the Iberian Coast, and Western Europe, before resuming her existing schedule on May 20, 2022.
Because of the ongoing complexities of navigating global travel, the company previously announced that they are cancelling the following cruises:
- Queen Elizabeth’s voyages from the United Kingdom to Australia and her homeport season in Australia from October 18 up to and including March 9, next year.
- 2022 World Voyages on Queen Victoria and Queen Mary 2.
- Queen Victoria’s cruises from September 10 up to and including April 29, 2022.
However, 5 of Queen Victoria’s cruises will transfer onto identical sailings on sistership Queen Elizabeth, including V126, V128, V129, V130, V201.
