The Carnival Corporation-owned Princess Cruises announced its 2023 cruises and cruisetours in Alaska, including the "Voyage of the Glaciers" itinerary, the “North to Alaska” enrichment program, as well as cruisetour packages combining the voyages with land tours - featuring rail travel and stays at Princess Cruises-owned Alaskan wilderness lodges.
Alaska 2023 voyages and cruisetours go on sale on August 18. The program features 6x MedallionClass ships - including fleet's newest - Discovery Princess, returning to Alaska for a second season. With a total of 145 departures, 14 different itineraries, 5 glacier viewing experiences and 4 homeports, the program includes:
- "Voyage of the Glaciers" from Vancouver BC Canada to Anchorage (Whittier) and the reverse: Grand Princess, Majestic Princess, and Sapphire Princess sail the 7-day itinerary featuring 2 glacier viewing experiences including Glacier Bay National Park.
- Inside Passage from Seattle WA: the newest ship in the fleet, Discovery Princess, and Crown Princess, sail back to the Emerald City with 7-day Inside Passage cruises.
- Inside Passage from San Francisco CA: Ruby Princess sails the 10-day roundtrip cruise from the City by the Bay, with the once-in-a-lifetime experience of sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge.
Combined with the "Voyage of the Glaciers", travelers can experience Alaska’s top attractions - Glacier Bay NP and Denali NP - choosing from 24 cruisetour itineraries that range from 3 to 10 nights on land, before/after the voyage.
