More major cruise companies restarted service in Europe over the weekend, with the premium brand Oceania setting sail for the first time since March 2020.
Oceania Marina became the fleet's first ship to sail after a 524-days pause. She is also the first cruise ship to sail out of Port Copenhagen Denmark since 2019.
The vessel will visit ports in Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Finland before concluding in Stockholm Sweden. Oceania Marina will then spend the remainder of the summer & autumn in Western Europe, the Greek isles, and the Mediterranean, prior to setting sail for PortMiami, where she is scheduled to arrive on December 1.
Oceania's next boat to restart operations is Riviera, set to launch in the Greek isles on October 18 leaving from Istanbul Turkey.
Insignia will restart from PortMiami Florida on December 21.
The rest of the fleet resumes operation in 2022.
Oceania requires all guests and crew members to be fully vaccinated.
