Princess Cruises’ newest ship - Enchanted Princess, sailed into homeport Port Everglades/Fort Lauderdale Florida Thursday morning (September 2) as crew members prepare for passenger voyages in November.
Port's CEO Jonathan Daniels said it was the 3rd new ship to arrive in the last several months, commencing with Celebrity Apex and Odyssey of the Seas.
The first passenger voyage of the 145,000-GT ton, 3660-passenger ship Enchanted Princess is scheduled for November 10th, out of Port Everglades.
Enchanted Princess expands Princess’ fleet of MedallionClass liners and a wearable “OceanMedallion” device is expected to help make guests’ vacations more effortless, “delivering highly personalized service and enabling touchless interactive experiences and entertainment,” the line's news release states.
Passengers will be able to enjoy “expedited boarding; on-demand food, beverage, retail and service delivery; keyless stateroom entry; contactless payment; friends and family locator; anywhere wagering; interactive games; and movies/live TV on the go.”
