One of the leading Caribbean cruise ports is continuing its comeback as another major ship is scheduled to return to Port Zante-Basseterre, St Kitts Island.
Celebrity’s ship Equinox is scheduled to make her official return to St Kitts on September 14.
It will mark the first call by parent company RCG-Royal Caribbean Group to the twin-island federation since the onset of the COVID crisis.
St Kitts and Nevis reopened its cruise industry with a set of health and safety protocols including a requirement that all passengers 12+ must be fully vaccinated with a WHO-World Health Organization-approved COVID vaccine in order for the liner to be allowed entry to the port.
All fully vaccinated travelers must also submit a negative PCR/antigen test 3 days prior to the embarkation at the beginning of the voyage.
Unvaccinated passengers 12+ must submit a PCR test in the same time frame. They must also be tested by the line at the terminal on the day of embarkation.
