The ultra-luxury cruise brand Seabourn continues to work with government and port officials in order to develop plans for the full return of cruising operations.
Seabourn updated the restart of one of its remaining ships - Seabourn Quest, in time for the summer Mediterranean season on May 10, 2022.
Cruises on Seabourn Quest, the 3rd of 5 ships in the brand that is still not sailing, from January to May 10 have been canceled.
Seabourn Quest will resume sailing in the Mediterranean on May 10, spending her summer 2022 season outside Venice City's Venice Lagoon, where the Italian government earlier in 2021 banned large ships from navigating the Giudecca Canal/cruising close to St Mark Square).
The Seabourn boat Quest is expected to visit "the historic countries in the Adriatic and Ionian seas through mid-July before turning west and north to explore coastal destinations across Spain, Portugal, France and the United Kingdom”.
In August, Carnival Corporation (shipowner) canceled the 145-day world voyage on Seabourn Sojourn that was scheduled to depart on January 11 from Los Angeles California, rescheduling it until 2024.
