NCL-Norwegian Cruise Line marked another milestone in the company's Great Cruise Comeback via the redeployment of the Norwegian Epic and Norwegian Getaway ships in the Mediterranean.
A 3rd of NCL’s fleet of 17 liners are now back in operation, welcoming passengers back onboard after the line’s 500+ day suspension.
Norwegian Epic, NCL's 4th ship to restart operations, completed the first voyage to port cities in Spain and Italy out of Barcelona. During the 7-day trip, the ship visited Livorno, the gateway to the Renaissance heritage of Florence and Tuscany, Civitavecchia-Rome, Naples, Cagliari Sardinia and Palma de Mallorca.
Meanwhile, Norwegian Getaway today embarked on her first voyage from Civitavecchia. By October 25, she is scheduled to sail a mix of 10- to 11-day Greek Isles itineraries, visiting Dubrovnik, Corfu, Katakolon-Olympia (NCL’s newest homeport situated on the Peloponnese peninsula), Mykonos, Santorini, Naples, Livorno.
NCL restarted operations on July 25 with Norwegian Jade launching 7-day itineraries to the Greek Isles.
