Havila Voyages took delivery of Havila Capella cruiseferry.
The 1st of all 4 new ferries for the shipowner Havila Kystruten will soon start sailings along Norway's coast.
Havila Capella will commence voyages on the Norwegian coastal express route from homeport Bergen. This service is also provided by Hurtigruten. According to Havila Voyages' CEO Bent Martini, that was a day of joy.
To make the preparations more efficient, both yard workers and subcontractors are involved in parts of and the entire cruise to Bergen. In addition, the ferry company has its own employees who start work on preparing the newbuild for traffic along the Norwegian coast. When the vessel arrives in Bergen, even more people will be onboard to familiarize themselves and get ready for the maiden voyage.
The first roundtrip Bergen-Kirkenes will depart from Bergen on December 1 (Wednesday), when passengers will get the first encounter with the boat.
The food and interior of the ship reflect the coast they travel through. The staterooms are large, the common areas are tailored to enjoy the sea views, with glass roofs to the midnight sun and northern lights sky as well as a long outdoor promenade.
