Aqua Expeditions announced the launch of the company's 5th ship - the superyacht Aqua Mare (1998-built, IMO number 1005942).
As "the first true superyacht in the Galapagos Islands", the 50-m-long boat boasts 30% more indoor volume (GT tonnage) than most similarly-sized superyachts, making her the perfect spot after active days exploring the wildlife and nature of the Archipelago.
Aboard the CRN Yachts-built Aqua Mare, passengers will find 7 large Zuretti-designed suites, of which an 80 m2 (861 ft2) Owner’s Suite complete with butler service, indoor and outdoor social spaces, stylish finishing, and attention to every detail, making her the first of its kind in the region, as well as the ultimate retreat while exploring the volcanic landscapes of the Galapagos. The yacht's exclusivity is combined with personalized service enabled by a couple of naturalist guides for 16 passengers, on top of the islands’ one-to-one crew to passenger ratio.
An example of signature Italian luxury megayacht builders CRN Yachts, Aqua Mare is a ship of distinction. Designed and built back in 1998, she incorporates original custom interiors by renowned yacht designer Francois Zuretti and timeless exterior styling by Studio Scanu (Italy).
Originally consisting of 5 staterooms, following this year's refurbishment Aqua Mare has two more cabins. A personalized interior makeover complements the rich history of the destination.
Having attained the highest international classifications in safety (ISM, Lloyd’s Register), the ship is additionally equipped with Koop Nautic Sea Rocq Underway stabilizers allowing for comfort at rest or while cruising at a max speed of 17 knots, faster than any other vessel in the Archipelago.
