Enchanted Princess, the 5th Royal-class ship in the fleet of Princess Cruises, was officially christened in a ceremony and celebration as part of the original production “Our World, Enchanted,” which premiered on the line’s YouTube channel and Facebook page on Monday, December 13.
Hosted by Princess Cruises Celebrations Ambassador Jill Whelan & Enchanted Princess Cruise Director Dan Falconer, “Our World, Enchanted” introduces the innovative features of the MedallionClass ship and culminates in the official christening to welcome Enchanted Princess into the fleet.
The official ceremony honors 3 members of The Explorers Club serving as the godmothers of Enchanted Princess. They have been recognized for their achievements in expeditions, oceanography, mapping the oceans – Captain Lynn Danaher, Vicki Ferrini, Jenifer Austin.
The 3660-passenger liner represents an evolution of the design platform used for sisterships Royal Princess (2013), Regal Princess (2014), Majestic Princess (2017), and Sky Princess (2019).
The inaugural cruise season of Enchanted Princess began on November 10, with 10-day Southern Caribbean itineraries roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades, Florida).
