Emerald Cruises took delivery of the first of its 2 ground-breaking superyachts, Emerald Azzurra.
After departing Ha Long Shipyard (Vietnam), the 100-passenger yacht is headed to Aqaba-Petra (Jordan) to welcome guests onboard her inaugural sailing on March 11 - an 8-day Red Sea itinerary.
After her highly anticipated inaugural voyage, Emerald Azzurra is expected to transit the Suez Canal to embark on a series of cruises in the warm water of the Mediterranean and along the coast of the Adriatic over the summer prior to returning to the Red Sea in winter 2022-2023.
A first for yacht cruising, Azzurra features an innovative infrared sauna. Of the 50 luxurious suites, over 88% boast balconies, with more space per passenger than similar ships of her size. The yacht boasts a large infinity pool, gym, spa, and marina platform, with paddleboards, snorkeling equipment, and SEABOBs available for guests. A fleet of the latest in electronic bikes from Gocycle is also available onboard, ideal for active explorations and local village trips.
Emerald Azzurra is to be joined by sisteryacht Emerald Sakara in February 2023, with itineraries to Seychelles, Black Sea, and the Middle East.
Emerald Cruises offers a lineup of yacht and river cruises on 3 continents. Emerald Azzurra, the first ocean-going vessel of the line set to debut in March, is a 100-passenger luxury superyacht that will sail in the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Black, and Red Seas.
Emerald Sakara will be the line’s 2nd superyacht and will add Seychelles to the destination lineup when she debuts in 2023.
On the rivers, the brand sails 8 Star-Ships in Europe and 1 on the Mekong, as well as a chartered river vessel sailing the waterways in Russia.
