The Grand Voyage South America 2024 will for the first time include round-trip business-class flights. It will circumnavigate Latin America, prior to taking guests deep inland along the Amazon River to Manaus (Brazil Amazon) in the heart of the rainforest. As well as enjoying the maiden call in Ilhabela (Brazil), home to a UNESCO-listed biosphere reserve, passengers will explore Ushuaia at the southernmost tip of South America, in addition to the striking glaciers and fjords of the continent.
Silver Nova will visit Callao-Lima (Peru), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Montevideo (Uruguay), and will also offer an extended call (3 overnight stay) in Rio de Janeiro to enjoy the Rio Carnival. Ahead of arriving in Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades, Florida) on March 15, 2024, guests will explore the Eastern Caribbean with calls in Spanish Town (Virgin Gorda BVI), Castries (St Lucia), Port Elizabeth (Bequia Island, Grenadines).
Guests will also have the chance to experience the region’s culinary flavors via Silversea’s S.A.L.T. program.
Passengers joining Silver Nova for "Grand Voyage South America 2024" will be one of the first to experience the environmentally-conscious cruise ship. Innovative and state-of-the-art technological solutions make her the first hybrid, luxury cruiser to be free of local emissions at the port, with advanced hybrid technology boasting fuel cells paving the way for the future of sustainable cruising.
