Beauty Point is a port town (and the cruise port to Launceston) in north-eastern Tasmania, located at Tamar River's mouth (on Port Dalrymple, opposite George Town) and approx 45 km (28 mi) north of Launceston City. The town's population is around 1,300.

The settlement was established as the river's first deep-water port to serve the nearby Beaconsfield (gold mine town). During Tasmania's gold boom, Beaconsfield was the island's third-largest town After the gold rush ended, from Beauty Point was exported mainly sheep and apples.

Beauty Point's current economy is based on commercial fishing, port activities, farming (sheep, cattle), and vine growing. Seahorse World is a new and fully-operational seahorse farm and public education center. Beauty Point Slipway is a shipyard used for boat repairs. Also in the port is the campus of Australian Maritime College (University of Tasmania) housing over 100 students.
