Bremerton WA is a Pacific Northwest USA cruise port and city in Kitsap County (Washington USA) with population around 40,000. Port Bremerton (locode USPWT) is located on Kitsap Peninsula (across Puget Sound). Near the town are located two large military facilities - Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (aka Bremerton Navy Yard, 1891-established) and Naval Base Kitsap (2004-created).

Bremerton is divided by Port Washington Narrows - a strait with two bridges connecting the city's eastern and western parts. Bremerton National Airport is approx 8 mi (13 km) southwest from downtown and is owned by Port Bremerton. The facility serves mainly general aviation (cargo and passenger), as well as military planes (~1%), air taxis (small commercial aircraft), helicopters. Airport's annual traffic is around 66,000 flights (~180 daily).
Two passenger ferries connect (via daily scheduled service) Bremerton with downtown Seattle. The 1-hour ferry service is for vehicles and foot passengers, while the 0,5-hour (fast ferry) service is for foot passengers only. The road distance to Seattle is approx 65 mi (105 km) via two highways - SR 16 (counties Pierce and Kitsap) and I-5 (interchange with SR 16 in Tacoma, I5 connects Tacoma-Seattle-Everett). In downtown Bremerton are located the ferry terminal, as well as popular tourist attractions like Admiral Theatre (live music-entertainment venue), Harborside Fountain Park (modern-designed recreational space), numerous art galleries, naval museums, historic buildings, restaurants, breweries, coffee shops.
