Catskill NY is a Hudson River cruise port and town in New York state's Greene County, with population around 12,000. Town's land area was purchased from the Indians in 1678, and as town was established in 1788. Greene County was formed in 1800. The riverport (boat dock) is called Dutchman's Landing. Through Catskill NY pass two major roads - I-87 (highway part of the New York State Thruway) and US-9W (north–south running highway in NJ-NY).
