Clarkston WA is a Snake River cruise port and town in Washington USA (Asotin County) with population around 8,000. The town is part of Lewiston-Clarkston metro area (total population around 60,000) and is located west of Lewiston (Idaho), just across the river.

Clarkston WA was founded in 1862 (as Jawbone Flats) and officially incorporated in 1902. The city is named after William Clark (American explorer and territorial governor, 1770-1838). Lewiston City is named after Meriwether Lewis (US politician, 1774-1809).

Port Clarkston has one of the biggest gantry cranes on a navigable inland waterway east of Portland OR. A major industry in the area is agriculture and the port handles plenty of barge traffic carrying grains. Clearwater Paper Corporation transports sawdust and wood chips via barges for use at Lewiston manufacturing plant. Due to the inland location on Snake River, the port handles goods headed inland to distributors upstream and out to Portland-Vancouver. Port's marina provides berthing for pleasure boats and yachts, most of which cruise through the nearby Hells Canyon.

As cruise port, Clarkston WA is a homeport / departure port in the schedules of USA's largest river cruise companies - ACL (American Cruise Lines) and AQSC (American Queen Voyages/Steamboat Company).
