Compiegne is an Oise River/Seine cruise port and city (population around 40,000) located approx 90 km (55 mi) north-northeast of Paris (road distance/via highway A1 Autoroute).

Compiegne is in France's Oise department (Hauts-de-France region) and spreads on the Oise River's both banks. On the river's right bank is the town of Compiegne/proper, while across the river (to the west/left bank) is the town of Margny-les-Compiegne (population around 9,000) which is integrated with/part of Compiegne City.

Oise River originates in Belgium (Hainaut Province), it has length approx 340 km (212 mi) and crosses the Belgium-France border after ~20 km (12 mi). Oise River flows into the Seine at Paris City's suburb Conflans-Sainte-Honorine.

As cruise port, Compiegne was introduced by CroisiEurope in 2023 as part of the Raymonde barge's schedule.
