Eltmann is a Main River cruise port and town in Germany's Bavaria state (Lower Franconia/Unterfranken region, Hassberge district)) with population around 5,000. The town is on the river's south bank, approx 18 km (11 mi) west of Bamberg. Eltmann is also part of Naturpark Steigerwald (1988-established Nature Park in North Bavaria comprising an area of 1280 km2 / 495 mi2).
As cruise port, Eltmann was first included in the 2022 schedule of one of Europe's largest river cruise companies - AmaWaterways. Eltmann is included as call port in the company's repositioning cruise from Luxembourg to Germany (Nuremberg). The 7-night cruisetour was initially priced from USD 2930 / EUR 2475 per person (double-occupancy cabin rates).

Bundesstrasse 26 (highway) passes through Eltmann, Autobahn 70 has an interchange adjacent to Eltmann. Deutsche Bahn (railway company) links via trains that stop at the Ebelsbach-Eltmann station. Tourist attractions include Wallburg (11th-century watchtower, bridge-connected to a castle), Wallfahrtskirche Mariaheimsuchung (mid-18th-century church), Kreuzkapelle (Chapel of the Holy Cross, early-17th-century), Olbergkapelle (13th-century chapel / town's oldest building), Steigerwald (featuring long walking and cycling trails, popular for hiking and wildlife viewing), promenade (riverside street). Eltmann has 4 breweries and every July here is held a beer festival with traditional food and live music and entertainment.
Town's current economy is based on agriculture, viniculture (winegrowing and production), light manufacturing, retail and tourism.
