Falmouth is a port town on Antigua Island. The town is located at the end of Falmouth Harbour (island's southern coast) and has population under 1,000. To the east of Falmouth Harbour is the similarly sized town English Harbour.

A road links Falmouth Harbour with the nearby city Liberta (Antigua's 4th-largest town - after Saint John's, All Saints, and Piggotts). Among the most-popular cruise shore excursion offers is Monks Hill on which is one of the 40 forts built by the British during Antigua's occupation in the 19th century. This Fort was created as a refuge in case the French attack Falmouth Harbour. While a French warship was passing en-route to Guadaloupe, the British evacuated the entire town fearing a possible attack.

A well-known local attraction is Sweet T's Ice Cream Parlour (within walking distance from The Catamaran Hotel Antigua). At various times during the year, special events are enjoyed by villagers and tourists, such as Sweet T's fishing tournament, and yearly anniversary party. A must-try are the chicken salad and "Back Builder" milkshake.

Antigua's VC Bird International Airport serves numerous regularly scheduled domestic and international daily flights linking to the USA, Canada, UK, Barbados, Tortola Island (BVI), St Barthelemy Island, St Maarten Island, St Kitts Island, Jamaica, St Lucia Island, Trinidad, Puerto Rico, St Thomas Island (USVI), Dominican Republic. A taxi from the airport to Falmouth Harbour costs ~USD 30.

In February 2019, GPH (Global Ports Holding / 2004-founded, UK-based company, world's largest cruise port operator) signed a 30-year exclusive concession deal with Antigua and Barbuda for Antigua cruise port and retail shopping operations. A similar deal GPH signed with Cuba (for Port Havana) in 2018. Part of the deal was that GPH will invest in improving Port St Johns' current retail shops and construct new retail and food-beverage facilities. GPH also handles all cruise vessels anchoring close to Falmouth Harbour.

Small-sized cruise ships anchor at English Harbour - a natural harbor waterway and settlement, located on the island's southern coast, and just to the southeast of Fallmouth (Antigua).
