Henderson KY is an Ohio River cruise port and town in USA's Kentucky state (Henderson County) with population around 30,000. The town is part of Evansville metro region (aka Tri-State Area). Region's largest city (Evansville Indiana) is approx 16 km (10 mi) to the north, while Owensboro KY is approx 50 km (30 mi) to the east.

The settlement (initially named Red Banks) was founded in the 18th-century and incorporated in 1840. By mid-19th-century, the county became a major dark tobacco producer (reportedly world's largest) exporting mainly to Great Britain. The industry was represented by large warehouses and stemmeries (buildings where tobacco leaves were stripped). In early-20th-century, Henderson KY had world's largest number of millionaires per capita. Town's largest tobacco plant was the Soaper Tobacco Warehouse (Pennell Street) which closed in 1984. Current-day town's economy is based on industries like agriculture (corn and soybean production), coal and aluminum production, car- and appliance parts, plastic injection molding, food processing, recycled materials processing.

As cruise port, Henderson KY is included in the schedule of USA's largest river cruise company - ACL-American Cruise Lines.
