Honfleur is a Seine River cruise port in northwestern France, located near the river's estuary. It is located across from Le Havre (seaport to Paris City) and very close to the exit of the bridge Pont de Normandie.

The town has population around 9,000 and is best known for its old port. It features picturesque houses painted by popular French Impressionists, including Monet, Boudin, Jongkind. After the town was named the BRITTANY FERRIES ship Honfleur. This newbuildferry was ordered in 2017 and scheduled for launch in 2019.

Due to its location, the Port is visited regularly mainly by riverboats. However, smaller-sized cruise ships and some of the cruising mega-yachts often call here as well. The town is a tourist destination of a special historic charm. Around its Vieux Bassin, timber-fronted houses overlook the boating harbor, and the cobbled streets recall 16th-century Honfleur.

Not to miss is the 15th-century Sainte-Catherine church (France's largest wooden church). The town has 4 popular museums - Eugene Boudin, , Erik Satie, Vieux Honfleur, and a Naval Museum. From Honfleur can be visited Arromanches, Monet's Garden, Normandy Landing Beaches, Bayeux.

Honfleur Port (locode FRHON) started its cruise shipping business in 2013, with the inauguration of the cruise terminal at Quai en Seine #3 (Quay 3).

In pre-COVID 2019, the cruise port handled 60 ship calls and ~42000 tourists.

In 2023, the Port had scheduled a total of 31 ship calls, and 40 were the booked cruise berthings for 2024.

In February 2023, the Port announced a plan (EUR 7 million investment) for installing of shore power for cruise ships at Quay 3. The technology allows berthed boats to turn off their diesel engines/electricity generators and instead use the city's power grid electricity for the needed onboard hotel operations.

By the year 2027, at Honfleur’s Quai en Seine 3/QSH3 Pier (cruise dock) will be installed shore-power equipment that allows berthed vessels to turn off their diesel engines and use city grid electricity for their onboard services.

Port Honfleur has vessel size limitations, restricting access to cruise ships with max LOA length 260 m (853 ft) and max-draft 9 m (30 ft) at its cruise terminal/main berth at Quai en Seine #3 (QSH3/Pier 3).

Smaller-sized vessels are accommodated at Quai en Seine #1 (Pier 1) with limitations max LOA 180 m/590 ft and max draft 9 m/30 ft.

This means that as both quays (3/primary, and 1/secondary) impose vessel size limitations, the Port can handle only small- and medium-sized cruise ships as well as superyachts and megayachts.
