Huatulco (aka Bahias de Huatulco) is a port town and tourist development in Oaxaca, Mexico, on the country's Pacific coast. The local tourism industry is centered on the 9 bays (bahias). The town has population around 50,000.

Huatulco (Oaxaca) is located where the foothills of Sierra Madre del Sur mountains meet the Pacific Ocean - approx 500 km (310 mi) south of Acapulco (Guerrero Mexico). The town offers a wide variety of accommodations (rooms for rent,  vacation homes, luxury villas, small economy and luxury hotels), as well as some luxury resorts on or close to Tangolunda Bay. The most popular resorts in the region are named Camino Real Zaashila, Las Brisas (fka Club Med), Dreams Resort & Spa, Barcelo, Quinta Real Huatulco.

Bocana del Rio Copalita is a renowned archaeological site located approx 10 km (6 mi) from the bays. It covers an area of 0,35 km2 (0,14 mi2) and includes as landmarks a museum, main temple, temple dedicated to serpent god, a Mesoamerican ball court.

There are several (still operational) coffee plantations that can be toured. Their names all have the "Finca" prefix - Monte Carlos, Las Nieves, Margaritas, La Gloria, El Pacífico. Finca El Pacifico is famous for the organic coffee "Pluma Hidalgo". The scenery at the plantation is marked by ravines and waterfalls. Finca La Gloria is famous for the "Mariposorio Dain Biguid" butterfly sanctuary.
