Key Biscayne is an island town in Florida USA (Miami-Dade County) with population around 15,000. Parto of the Florida Keys archipelago (off southern Florida), Key Biscayne is approx 17 mi (27 km) to the south of Miami Beach (via highway I-195 E) and approx 9 mi ( 40 km) to the southeast of Miami (via Crandon Boulevard and state road FL-913 N).

Key Biscayne island is connected to Virginia Key and Miami (across Biscayne Bay) via the Rickenbacker Causeway (1947-built, length 5,5 mi / 9 km). The island's northern portion is occupied by Crandon Park (808 acres / 327 hectares / 3,3 km2) which was part of the USA's coconut plantation (owned by William John Matheson and donated by his family in 1940 for establishing a public park). The island's middle section houses the town of Key Biscayne. The island's southern part is occupied by Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Recreation Area (includes Cape Florida Lighthouse/1825-built). The Bill Baggs Park has ~1 mi long beachfront (ranked one of the world's top 10 beaches) and provides tourists with activities like snorkeling, boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, picnicking/camping, lighthouse tours.

As cruise port, Key Biscayne was introduced with the 2023 schedule of the ACL-American Cruise Lines catamaran ship American Glory.
