Kitzingen is a Main River cruise port and town in Germany's Bavaria state, with population around 21,000. The county (part of Mainfranken region, Lower Franconia district) is surrounded by vineyards and is ranked as the state's largest wine producer.

Town's best-known landmark and most popular tourist attraction is Falterturm (Camping Leaning Tower, 15th-century built round tower with a crooked roof). It currently houses the Deutsches Fastnachtmuseum (German Carnival Museum, founded in 1963). The tower is very well preserved and was constructed (1469-1496) as watchtower fortification of the outer wall. It has 7 floors and height 52 m (171 ft). Because of its crooked spire, the tower is referred to as "leaning" (result of room beams' hogging and sagging).
