Cruise Port schedule, live map, terminals, news
Koh Lipe Island is part of Thailand's Tarutao National Marine Park. It is located very close to Koh Adang island. Both are part of Butang Archipelago (aka Adang Archipelago), which also includes Koh Rawi (the group's largest), Koh Butang, Koh Tanga, Koh Taratao and Koh Chuka.
Koh Lipe Island is a very well-developed resort vacation destination with numerous hotels for all budgets and modern vacation amenities. However, if compared to other Southeast Asian travel destinations, the island is rather expensive. As prices vary greatly by season, budget-minded tourists should avoid the peak summer season as some hotel rates are double the low season prices.
All resorts and hotels have great restaurants and offer tour boats around the island. Koh Lipe has 3 main beaches, of which Sunrise Beach is the biggest. The list of hotels and resorts on the island includes Salisa Resort, Ten Moons Lipe Resort, Sunset Beach hotels, Pattaya Beach hotels.
The island can be reached year-round from Pak Bara (Southern Thailand). During peak season, tour boats and speed boats run to and from Pulau Langkawi, Koh Lanta, Koh Phi Phi, Phuket. Island hopping is another option to visit Koh Lipe. The nearest airport is Hat Yai (mainland Thailand, near the border with Malaysia).
