Koh Oknha Tey (aka Silk Island) is a beautiful island on Mekong River visited as a "cruise port" destination popular for the river kayaking and Tuk-Tuk excursions to the “silk islands” and their authentic silk weaving arts.
Tourists are allowed to witness the entire process, to learn all about the silkworms, how the silk thread is looped, and dyed. Beautifully-crafted Khmer silk fabrics and accessories are also available for purchase.
As a cruise port, Koh Oknha Tey is included in the Mekong cruise schedule of the riverboat AmaDara (2015-built ship owned by AmaWaterways). The next table show's the 7-day itinerary (between homeports Saigon and Kampong Cham) with prices starting from ~USD 1800 pp (double occupancy rates).

Chong Koh Village
Chong Koh is a Mekong River cruise port (small village) on Koh Oknha Tey that was recently developed as cruise ship tourism attraction. Locals are engaged in farming, fishing, and silk weaving. Each family in the village has a wood-made loom machine powered by foot pedals. Here tourists can purchase reasonably-priced traditional Khmer headscarfs.
Despite the fact that Chong Koh (the "silk village") is visited by numerous cruise boats, its residents remain friendly. Culture and art attract many international tourists via cruise tour excursion to Cambodia. The village has a temple with pagoda, beautiful Buddha sculpture, and statues of animals.
