Long Khanh Island is a Mekong River cruise travel destination part of Vietnam's Dong Thap Province (Mekong Delta). The island is located just across the river from Hong Ngu (district-level/Class-3 town).
As cruise port, Long Khanh was included in Emerald Waterways' Asia 2020 schedule of the newbuild ship Emerald Harmony (2019-launched). Long Khanh Island is often visited as a shore excursion option via private boat tours roundtrip from Chau Doc. The itinerary also features passing the VÄ©nh Te Canal and visiting Tra Su Cajuput Forest (ecological park). The isle is not to be mistaken for the Long Khanh City (in Vietnam's Dong Nai Province), with a metro population of around 250,000.
