Nordfjordeid is a cruise port and village in western Norway (Eid in Sogn og Fjordane county, Eid municipality) with a population of around 3,000. The port is located at Eidsfjorden's end (fjord part of Nordfjorden) and west of Hornindalsvatnet (lake). The closest villages are Starheim (12 km / 8 mi) to the west, Mogrenda (5 km / 3 mi) to the east, and Lote (7 km /4 mi) to the southeast.

The cruise port is at approx 9 hours drive distance from Oslo (Norway's capital city), ~5 hours from Bergen, and ~3 hours from Alesund. Nordfjordeid is Eid municipality's administrative center and commercial hub, with the main/largest industries being shopping and tourism. E39 highway (connecting Bergen with Alesund) passes nearby. National Road 15 (linking Maloy with Otta) passes through Nordfjordeid.

 

The best-known among the many tourist attractions are Geirangerfjord (15-km / 9 mi-long branch off Sunnylvsfjorden/Storfjorden), Briksdalen (glacier), Harpefossen (ski resort), popular outdoor activities (mainly hiking).
