Pinhao is a Douro River cruise port and village in Alijo (Portugal) with population under 1,000. Among the best known attractions are the 68-m/223-ft-long bridge (that cruise tourists cross to get into the village) and the railway station (covered with painted tiles / tin-glazed ceramic tilework).

Pinhao is also the cruise port to Favaios (population around 1,000) popular for its Moscatel wines. The cruisetours to Favaios depart roundtrip from Pinhao and include a food-and-wine tasting event. Sometimes, after Favaios the bus tour continues and visits the Enoteca da Quinta da Avessada (winery/wine tasting event) and then returns back to Pinhao.

Pinhao is on the river's north bank, and in the center of the wine-growing region. The landscape is designated as a UNESCO site. The railway station features 24 panels of ceramic tiles depicting landscapes of the region and aspects of winemaking.

Annually, Pinhao is visited by around 400,000 tourists. It is also among the common ports of call along Douro River cruise itineraries leaving roundtrip from Oporto.
