Pleidelsheim is a Neckar River/Rhine River cruise port and town in Germany's Baden-Wurttemberg state (Ludwigsburg district) with population around 7,000. The town is on the river's right back, across the Ingersheim district of Ludwigsburg (district's capital city with population around 95,000) and approx 30 km (19 mi) north of Stuttgart (state's capital city with population around 2,8 million).

As cruise port, Pleidelsheim is included in the schedule of CroisiEurope. It is visited in the autumn (September-October) and often together with Remseck (approx 16 km/10 mi to the south). Nearby are also Steinheim an der Murr (east), Marbach (southeast) and Freiberg (south).

Until the late-19th century, Pleidelsheim's economy was largely based on agriculture (grain, corn, tobacco) and forestry. The town is road-connected via Bundesautobahn 81 (BAB 81/federal highway).

Pleidelsheim is popular for its medieval architecture, with most of its buildings dating from the 16th-17th centuries.

Popular for domestic tourism, Pleidelsheim is visited for its Krauser Memorial Bicycle Museum (1993-founded, displaying motorcycles and some racing cars), Local History Museum (2010-opened), Mauritiuiskirche (14th-century church with a defensive tower/considered the town's landmark), architecture (half-timbered buildings/16th-17th centuries).
