Ralswiek is a Baltic Sea cruise port and small village on Rugen Island (Germany's Mecklenburg-Vorpommern state) with a population of under 500. It is located approx 8 km north of Bergen Auf Rugen (located in the island's center) and near the main road 96 and Stralsund-Sassnitz railway line.
Best-known tourist attractions include Stortebeker-Festspiele (annual summer festival / held June through August), Ralswiek Castle (today a hotel / built above the lagoon Grosser Jasmunder Bodden), Slavic burial mounds (from 12th-century).
