Traena is a port town on Husoya Island, part of Nordland county (Helgeland region, Norway), with total area approx 16 km2 (6 mi2) and population around 500. Husoya Island is located east of Sanna Island (Traenfjorden), approx 20 km (12 mi) northwest of Lovund and 12 km (8 mi) south of Selvaer.

Husoya is only accessible by boat. Regularly scheduled ferries from Husoya connect to Selvaer Island and Stokkvagen (mainland Norway). Local economy is traditionally based on commercial fishing. Each year here is held Traena Music Festival.

On Husoya Island were made several archeological discoveries, indicating that it has been populated since Stone Age. Church of Norway has one parish within Traena municipality. Traena Lighthouse is to the south of Husoya.
