Review of MS Danubia
The 1980-built MS Danubia cruise ship operates on Europe’s 2nd-longest river - Danube (following only Volga River in Russia).
The riverboat was extensively drydock refurbished in 2007. Its cruise tour itineraries visit Danube ports in Hungary, Slovakia, Germany.
Cabins
MS Danubia has a total of 71 passenger cabins all of which are outside, same-sized (10 m2/110 ft2) and identically designed, with partially-opening windows (their upper section).
All accommodations are fitted with 2 lower beds (convertible to sofas during the day), WC, shower, adjustable air-conditioning, writing desk, TV, phone, safe box.

Shipboard facilities
MS Danubia has a one-sitting restaurant, a lounge with a bar, and a partially covered sun deck. Guests spend their leisure time on Danubia's Sun Deck, where they can admire the sights from deck chairs. Meals are served in ship's Restaurant on B-Deck, where passengers can try light bites in the early morning or buffet breakfast a little later. Lunch is offered either standard sit-down or buffet style, while dinners are 5-course gourmet affairs with complimentary regional wines. Produce is regional and fresh. Passengers can also indulge in the afternoon tea and cake service, or pamper with a midnight snack.
