MS Serenade 1

MS Serenade 1 is a luxurious riverboat operating on Rhine and Danube cruise itineraries. Departures are offered from Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Cologne, Amsterdam, Budapest, Vienna, Basel, also from Mainz and Passau. Itinerary lengths are 2-3-5-nights (mainly Dusseldorf and Amsterdam roundtrips), 7-9-10-11-14-nights.

Serenade I is a comparatively large ship with limited passenger capacity. This means there is a lot of space per passenger, resulting in larger staterooms and spacious public areas. Onboard passengers can enjoy a restaurant, bar lounge, Captain's Club, wellness area (sauna room, gym room / fitness, massage room / spa), small shop, large sun deck (outdoor top-deck area).

The ship has 68 cabins located on three different decks. Staterooms are sized 16 m2 (170 ft2), but due to the extremely efficient design, they seem larger. All accommodations are fully equipped with individual heating/air conditioning controls, radio, flat TV, minibar, safe, phone, comfortable en-suite bathroom (bathtub and shower). All cabins on decks Mozart and Chopin are with French balconies, Cabins on Beethoven Deck feature large windows.

The onboard restaurant offers a large buffet for breakfast meals. Waiter service is provided for lunch and dinner. With a wide variety of cuisines to choose from, passengers will never walk away and feel empty. For those who get hungry late at night, delicious snacks are provided in the evening. Afternoon tea is also served.
