MS Swiss Diamond

The 1996-built MS Swiss Diamond cruise ship and has as sisterships Swiss Crystal and Swiss Pearl. The riverboat cruises on the Passau-Hungary-Passau route. Last refurbished in 2019, Swiss Diamond in 2021 was chartered to VIVA Cruises (Scylla-owned subsidiary and travel brand).

In 2021, for Swiss Diamond VIVA Cruises introduced two new itineraries (along the Baltic Sea coast) leaving roundtrip from Stralsund Germany: “Island Hopping Baltic Sea” and “Baltic Islands”. The new itinerary program (May through October 2021) offers prices from EUR 1395 / GBP 1240 per person (double-occupancy cabin rates).

VIVA Cruises deals are all-inclusive, with ticket price-included snacks, in-cabin minibar, high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, Rituals (beauty products), gratuities.

Cabins

All cabins on the 123-passenger ms Swiss Diamond are outward-facing and feature a panoramic window, radio, TV, minibar, safe, air conditioning, hairdryer, shower, and WC. In addition to double cabins with twin beds, the vessel also offers one 3-bed cabin and a single cabin, as well as a large suite. 

Shipboard facilities

The welcoming lounge with its dance floor and panoramic bar, the restaurant in light colours, and the intimate library ensure that the passengers immediately feel at home onboard. They can relax in the whirlpool on the sun deck or in the sauna with solarium. Boutique Shop rounds off the available services. A lift connects Ruby and Emerald decks, while a stair lift links to Sun Deck.
