RV Thurgau Exotic 2

RV Thurgau Exotic II is a charming Irrawaddy river cruise ship sailing on itineraries Burma, between Mandalay and Rangoon / Yangon. This riverboat is elegantly designed, with the bygone colonial era's ambience, and furnished with quality furniture, local hardwoods and typical artwork. The onboard atmosphere is friendly and informal, promising comfortable exploration. This riverboat was constructed in 2011 and accommodates only 28 passengers in 15 staterooms.

The riverboat's dining room is spacious and seats all guests in a single open seating arrangement. It affords panoramic views and is originally fashioned in wooden furnishings and artwork. There is buffet-style breakfast, whereas lunch and dinner are waiter-served and offer a fusion of western and Asian cuisine. Vegetarian dishes are always offered and a fresh salad bar is arranged at lunch. Complimentary coffee and tea are available from 6:00 a.m. on the sun deck throughout the day. Local mineral water is provided daily in all cabins. Additional bottles are provided on request. Soft drinks, wine, beer and alcoholic drinks are not included in the cruise fare but available as an addition.

Thurgau Exotic 2's sun deck is equipped with comfortable reclining chairs, a self-service coffee and tea counter and a bar from where travellers can watch the world go by, passing ever-changing landscapes. The covered observation area allows for the river breeze so passengers can take in beautiful landscapes away from the daytime sun. There is a library onboard with a selection of English books. The small boutique offers a collection of local (handmade) souvenirs, handicrafts, postcards, a limited selection of toiletries.
