Itineraries

The 7-day cruisetour itinerary visits Lyon, Arle and Avignon, with shore excursions to the Burgundy vineyards and Camargue nature reserve. Prices in 2020 (September) started from EUR 1028 per person / ~USD 1220 pp (double occupancy).

The cruising experience features Beaujolais (Lyon's winegrowing area) visited at the voyage's start - when the boat docks in Macon. A bus tour takes passengers to "Hameau du Vin" (museum village), sailing to Lyon City where Saone River flows into Rhone. Then the boat heads for Tournon-sur-Rhone (Tain l'Hermitage). Follows the Ardeche Gorges Natural Reserve (France's "Grand Canyon"). En-route to Avignon, the cruise ship Mistral passes Rhone River's largest lock system. Follows Arles and Avignon (the old papal city). The voyage ends in Martigues (near Marseille, on the Mediterranean coast).

Following the Coronavirus-related travel restrictions, in 2020 CroisiEurope's Mistral cruises were scheduled to depart August 21-27, September 2-8 and 23-29 and October 5-11. The ship also sailed the reverse route (Martigues to Chalon) on October 11-17. Both voyages are priced from EUR 1028 pp, with ticket prices inclusive of all shore excursions, onboard meals and bar drinks.
